Anusha is passionate about social change and loves to work with the people on-ground. She likes to explore and has worked in different areas like urban planning, rural development, water and sanitation, housing for poor, strategic real estate consulting, academia, government and social sectors.
As an Assistant Professor, she taught graduate and post graduate courses at Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (NIT-Bhopal) for 2.5 years. She has also worked as an Associate Consultant at Ernst & Young (EY) that was the knowledge partner to Government of Andhra Pradesh for IT, electronics, animation and gaming industries. Further she has helped in creating a plan for IT investment region in Visakhapatnam too.
At GAP, she currently leads three programs viz. GAP
Accelerate Program, that aims to accelerate changemakers’ efforts through accounting, legal, design-communication and technology services; GAP Experts Program, through which, experts from various domains and organisational function address the challenges and aspirations of changemakers and mentor them actively; and GAP ‘A’ Team Program, where GAP partners, catalysts and coaches come together as a group to give the changemaker’s project a total review and recommend strategies and ways to double their impact.
Anusha has a Masters degree in Urban and Regional Planning from C.E.P.T University, Ahmedabad and a Bachelors degree in Physical Planning from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (NIT, Bhopal). She is a GATE scholar and is pursuing a PhD from NIT- Bhopal.
