Usha Muppalla, is currently pursuing her Second year of the Post-Graduate Program in Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIMB). Prior to joining IIMB, she had been working with Reliance Industries Limited, Jamnagar (Gujarat) for 3 years as a Manager. At Reliance, she had a deep exposure to the Petrochemicals Industry with various assignments spanning engineering, project management and people management. She recently completed a 2-month internship stint with Accenture Strategy in Mumbai exploring her options in the world of management consulting.

She holds a Bachelor of Honours, Chemical Engineering, from the Birla

Institute of Technology & Science – Pilani Campus in Rajasthan. However, her learning from and exposure to different kinds of people across the country began from the age of six when  she joined Sri Sathya Sai Higher Secondary School- Puttaparthi (Andhra Pradesh). It was here that she yearning to do something, however small it maybe, to make a difference in the life of people around me began.

Hailing from a small agricultural family based in Rural Ongole, a district of Andhra Pradesh, she had grown up viewing the challenges being faced by people in different walks of life. Her passions include painting, craft work and basketball.
